These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Receipt Flow mobile application and related services (the "Service") provided by George Abdelnour ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Receipt Flow you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
- You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account) or via our Account Deletion page.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or that you do not have the right to upload.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any part of the Service.
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to the receipt images, expense data, and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service for you (for example, transmitting receipt images to our OCR backend to extract date, amount and company, and uploading them to your own Google Drive).
5. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with Google Firebase, Google Drive, and Google Gemini, each governed by its own terms. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party account you connect (for example, the Google account you use for Drive).
6. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the OCR extraction will be accurate, that the Service will be error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. You are responsible for reviewing the data extracted by the OCR feature before relying on it for accounting, tax, or other purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or, if no such payment was made, USD 50.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm to us, other users, or any third party. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
